Fresh pollen is a natural product collected by bees from flowers, which is then harvested from the hives. It comes in small grains of varying colors, depending on the plants from which it originates. Unlike dried pollen, fresh pollen retains a higher amount of nutrients and live enzymes since it has not undergone dehydration processes. It is rich in proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, and is often consumed for its energy-boosting, immune-strengthening properties, and overall health benefits. To preserve its freshness and properties, it should be kept refrigerated.
Keep fresh pollen in the refrigerator and consume it within a maximum of 2 months. If you don’t plan to consume it within that time frame, you can freeze it and thaw small portions as needed to extend its shelf life.
Take one tablespoon a day, either on its own or mixed with yogurt. It is not recommended to consume more than this amount due to its high nutrient content.
